Dr. Zawacki is coeditor of Verse magazine, author of three books of poems, By Reason of Breakings (Georgia), Anabrach (Wesleyan), and Petals of Zero Petals of One (Talisman House), and editor of Afterwards: Slovenian Writing 1945-1995 (White Pine). He has also published critical essays in the TLS, Boston Review, How2, Chicago Review, New German Critique, and many other venues. He teaches for the English Department at the University of Georgia.
