New Rivers Press in Minnesota has announced that they will publish "The Relenting," a play Lisa Gill wrote with the help of collaborator Travis J. Farnsworth (BFA UNM 2008) who will also be providing art for the book. NRP is also writing a grant to bring the authors up to Minnesota. The work was inspired by when Lisa found a rattlesnake in her living room, though now the snake speaks back and the dialogue manifests as an archetypal journey. A small part of text (one poem) is in SiSwati, part is also in Greek, just a few lines, and there is one repeating line in Spanish. The play premieres in June and the book should be out by then!
